One of the hallmarks of Curamericas' work is the ability to combine specialized expertise and programming with a community-centered approach. By working hand-in-hand with local partners, Curamericas has helped over 1,000,000 people in impoverished communities across the globe. Curamericas Global is a secular organization that cultivates innovative partnerships with foundations, corporations, universities, civic clubs, and faith-based organizations that share Curamericas' vision of healthy mothers and children around the world.
Since 1983, Curamericas Global has partnered with communities to save the lives of women and children. Curamericas works with communities that have some of the highest child and maternal mortality rates in the world and in areas where preventable diseases like malnutrition, pneumonia, and complications from childbirth can quickly lead to death. Curamericas makes measurable impacts on the health of the community by focusing on prevention, health education, and establishing relationships with existing health facilities.
